Its been quite some time since I've had a dream about Nick Lachey. Kinda weird! But, the dream was awesome and sweet. So I thought I'd share! ENJOY!
I was on twitter one night and got a DM from Nick Lachey. It read :Hi Shanna! Sorry I've been so busy and not tweeted lately. Working on my new album. Hope all is well with you! I'm gonna temp follow so we can chat for few. I was like..Huh?? OMG! So, I replied to his DM: Nick its great to hear from you. I'm glad the album is coming along great..I can't wait to hear it! He replied : Thanks! I hope you like it! Its been a hard, long and exhausting process but its worth it to see my fans happy! I replied: Well, Nick that is why I admire you so, you are a great talent..and hot to boot! LOL He replied: Thanks! (lol) You aren't so bad yourself! (wink) Hey do you have any plans to come to LA?? I replied Oh I so wish I could..maybe I can make arrangements soon..kinda low on the cash flow..work and everything. But I shall certainly try! He replied: How about this..I'll pay..if you can make the arrangements? I'd love to meet you and hang out! I replied Aww..that is so sweet of you! But I'd hate for you to pay for me to come to LA..but..I can't say no! LOL Ok..its a date then! He replied Great! DM me your number if thats ok..we'll talk about it in more detail!
So as you can tell..I DM'd him my number and a few days later..OMG he called! We talked for hours! About anything and everything! Music, Movies..Family..it was awesome! I wasn't even nervous! So, the arrangements were made for a few months down the road..I took off work and Nick purchased my plane tickets..and such..and mailed them to me. And then the day came..I boarded a plane to LA!! I talked to him on the phone almost the entire flight. As I got closer to LA I started to get a bit nervous. Its one thing to talk to him on the phone..its another to see him face to face! But I knew I'd be ok!
Nick had told me that he was sending his driver to pick me up from the airport. He said he'd be holding a sign with my name on it. So, I got off the plane got my bags..and looked for the sign. I finally found the guy and we left in a limo! OMG I was like damn nick couldn't you have been a little more secretive about this!! LOL! So anyway, we arrived at a fancy hotel. I got all checked in and settled. The driver said he'd pick me up about an hour later to meet Nick for dinner. I got cleaned up..and the phone rang. It was Nick. "You ready?" he asked. "Yes..I'm on my way down!" I said.
Oh god..the butterflies started. "Shanna I thought to myself..Dont get all starstruck and act like a fool" LOL I walked down a flight of stairs and there he was..waiting at the bottem. I felt a little bit lightheaded! "Shanna!" he said. "Nick!!" I said with a giggle. "Its so great to meet you! We are gonna have a great time!" he said. "I'm already having fun..just getting to meet you!" I said. He smiled at me and we proceeded to get into a limo and head to some upscale restaurant for dinner. We were sitting across from each other..and he kept staring at me. I said "Nick..thank you so much for this." "Shanna its my pleasure to have you here." He said. He grabbed my hand and gave it a little kiss. I blushed! "So what would be like to do after dinner? Would you like to take a carriage ride?" he asked. "That sounds great!" I said. So we finished up our dinner..had a lovely conversation. We headed out the door to a beautiful horse and carriage waiting out front!
I kept thinking.."Is this for real? WOW!" I always knew that Nick seemed to be a sweetheart but I never knew how great he really was..till now. He helped me up into the carriage..jumped in beside me..and we took off. He put his arm around me..and cuddled close to him. We talked and talked..for the longest time! It was wonderful! It was like two old friends! And then..he did the sweetest thing ever! He started to sing for me. "I do...cherish you..for the rest of my life..you dont have to think twice..I will..love you still..from the depths of my soul its beyond my control" I chimed in "If you're asking do I love you this much..I do.." He smiled so big!! "You are someting else!" He said. "So are you!!" I said.
After the carriage ride and 98 degrees sing a long LOL we took a walk on the beach. It was dark, the moon was full and the sky was full of stars!. We sat cuddling in the sand..and talked some more..damn this guy could talk! LMAO!! It was great though. I had a blast! He turned and faced me. "Shanna I've had the best time tonight..I'm so glad you came. I hope that we can be friends." he said "Of course..I'd love that!" I said. Then...the unexpected happened. Nick reached up..ran this finger lightly across my cheek..and leaned in for a kiss. My heart went..(THUD) It was the sweetest moment I've ever had. We softly kissed for what seemed like..forever.
Then..I woke up! LOL!! So weird to have this dream I'm telling you! But..being the romantic that I am..it makes me smile!
